Your child is hesitant to get started
We take simple, manageable steps to develop balance and confidence without rushing your child.
Learning to ride, taking off the training wheels, building confidence or improving skills: I guide each child with teaching tailored to their age, ability and goals.
Every child starts from a different place. The aim is to understand what your child can already do, what might be holding them back and what they need to make progress with confidence.
We take simple, manageable steps to develop balance and confidence without rushing your child.
The transition to riding without training wheels is gradual, focusing on balance and good habits.
Starting, braking, turning, choosing a line and controlling speed can all be practised according to their needs.
After a fall or a difficult attempt, we start again with manageable exercises to help them feel at ease.

Your child's age, ability, any worries and your goals are all we need to get started. I'll then adapt the location, activities and pace to make the lesson reassuring and motivating.
First attempts, training wheels, lack of control or rebuilding confidence: we start with their actual experience.
Activities are simplified, broken down or turned into little challenges based on your child's response, helping them progress at their own pace without unnecessary pressure.
We'll discuss your child's age, ability, bike, any worries and the skills you'd like them to learn or improve.
I'll observe your child's position, balance and handling of the bike so I can adapt the exercises straight away.
We progress in short stages with suitable exercises, games and small challenges. Your child tries, practises and masters each skill before moving on.
I'll explain the progress I've seen and, where helpful, what they can keep practising at home or in a future lesson.

Balance, first pedal strokes, starting, braking, stopping, looking ahead, steering, cornering and bike handling are covered in the order that works best for your child. The aim is to make each movement feel increasingly natural until they can ride independently.

For beginners, overcoming a specific difficulty or improving with one-to-one coaching focused entirely on your child.
Learning alongside other children while still enjoying exercises tailored to each child's ability.
Several sessions close together to reinforce skills and make progress in a fun, structured environment.
Siblings, small groups or particular needs: we'll design a format that suits your situation.
A suitable bike in good working condition, a mandatory helmet and a location chosen for your child's level provide the right conditions for learning. Nice is my main area, with sessions also possible nearby and across the Alpes-Maritimes depending on your needs.
Lessons take place in a professional setting, with particular attention to skills development, bike control and safe riding conditions.
There's no single starting age for every child. Coordination, motivation, experience and confidence all matter too. We'll discuss these before the lesson.
There's no fixed number for everyone. Some children reach milestones quickly; others need more time to feel confident and consolidate their skills.
No. We can discuss it beforehand and plan a gradual transition to riding without training wheels.
It can be an excellent way to develop balance. Moving on to a pedal bike then introduces pedalling, starting and braking.
Arrangements depend on your child's age, independence and the type of lesson. The priority is always to create a calm, supportive learning environment.
Yes. A lesson can also improve braking, bike handling, steering, control or simply boost confidence.
Yes. Helmets are mandatory. No lesson will take place without one.
