Cycling lessons for adults in Nice

Learn to ride, return to cycling after several years, regain confidence or improve your bike handling: I'll guide you at your own pace, according to your ability, comfort and goals.

Back in the saddle

Learn, return and rebuild confidence.

It's never too late to learn or get back on a bike. We start with your current ability, how you feel and what you'd like to achieve, without judgement.

I've never learned to ride

We start with the basics: balance, looking ahead, setting off and your first pedal strokes, with steady, reassuring progress.

I'm afraid of falling

Exercises build gradually to help you regain your bearings, control and confidence without feeling rushed.

I can ride but don't feel fully in control

We can work on braking, cornering, choosing a line and bike handling to help you feel more comfortable quickly.

I'm returning after several years

Getting back in the saddle helps you gradually rediscover the feeling, reflexes and enjoyment of cycling.

A lesson that's easy to arrange

Tell me where you are now. I'll plan your progression.

Your experience, any concerns and what you want to achieve are all we need to start. I'll then adapt the location, exercises and pace to create a reassuring, well-structured lesson.

You tell me your starting point

Whether you're learning from scratch, returning after a break, rebuilding confidence or improving your handling, we begin with your actual situation.

I plan the lesson

Every exercise is simplified, broken down or adjusted to your response so you can progress at your own pace, without judgement or pressure.

See how the coaching works

Before the lesson

We'll discuss your experience, your bike, how you feel, any concerns and what you'd like to learn or rediscover.

The first few minutes

I'll observe your position, balance and bike handling so I can adapt the exercises immediately.

During the lesson

We work in short stages. You try, practise and build confidence in each movement before moving to the next.

After the lesson

We'll review your progress and the areas to keep working on, so you have a clear next step towards your goal.

Frequently asked questions

Questions you may still have.

Can adults learn to ride a bike?

Yes. It's never too late to learn. The lesson is adapted to your starting level, how you feel and your pace.

Is it a problem if I've never cycled before?

Not at all. We can start from scratch and gradually practise balance, setting off, pedalling and braking.

How many lessons will I need?

There's no fixed number for everyone. It depends on your starting point, confidence and goal.

I'm afraid of falling. Is this suitable for me?

Yes. Your concerns are taken into account. We'll move forward gradually in a suitable environment.

Can I bring my own bike?

Yes, as long as it's the right size and in good working order. We can discuss it before the lesson.

I can already ride. Can I still take a lesson?

Absolutely. A lesson can focus solely on confidence, braking, steering, handling or independent cycling.

Is a helmet required?

Yes. Helmets are mandatory. No lesson will take place without one.

Do you offer lessons outside Nice?

Yes. Nice is my main area, but sessions may also be arranged nearby or elsewhere in the Alpes-Maritimes depending on your plans.
