Cycling holidays in Nice – Hotel & Guesthouse

Discover Nice, the French Riviera and the Alpes-Maritimes on a cycling holiday designed around your ability, interests and pace. Your hotel or guesthouse becomes your base for exploring a different road or gravel route each day.

Your holiday, your pace

One cycling holiday, two ways to travel.

Starting from Nice and the French Riviera, you can stay at the same hotel or guesthouse throughout, or move from place to place. We'll choose the format based on your ability, road or gravel riding and the level of comfort you're looking for.

Hotel or guesthouse as your base

Stay in one place and enjoy a different loop each day. A comfortable option for recovery and riding without carrying all your luggage.

Point-to-point with different accommodation

Travel from stage to stage. Distance, elevation gain, terrain and recovery are planned together to create a trip that matches your ability.

The programme

Four essentials for planning your stay.

01

Road cycling holiday

Days on the road between coast, hills, mountain passes and countryside, with distances and climbing suited to your level.

02

Gravel cycling holiday

Tracks, trails and quiet roads are chosen around your experience, bike and preferred technical difficulty.

03

Comfort & recovery

Your hotel or guesthouse, daily pace and recovery time are considered alongside the cycling programme.

04

A programme suited to your group

Solo, as a couple, with friends or in a small group, the holiday adapts to your group's level and interests.

A holiday that's easy to plan

Tell me what you'd like. I'll build the holiday.

Your dates, number of days, ability, road or gravel preferences and group size are all we need to start. I'll then put together a balanced programme that combines cycling, accommodation, effort and recovery.

You choose the style of trip

Sightseeing, challenging riding days, a comfortable base or point-to-point touring: we'll start with how you want to experience cycling travel.

I build the programme

Distances, climbing, terrain, pace and accommodation are brought together for a smooth trip that suits your cycling experience.

Your level & your pace

Each day is designed around your fitness, experience, available time and preferred level of effort.

Road or gravel

The two types of riding remain distinct: terrain and routes are chosen specifically for the bike you're using.

Accommodation & luggage

The location of your hotel or guesthouse, any changes of accommodation and luggage arrangements are all included in the planning.

Who is it for?

Holidays can be created for individuals, couples, friends, clubs or small groups, with a programme suited to everyone taking part.

Our playground

Nice. The sea. The hills. And beyond.

Nice offers an easy transition from the city to the coast, then into the hills and countryside. This variety makes it possible to create very different routes without limiting your holiday to a fixed format.

Scenic roads, bikepacking tracks and the start of multi-day tours: the region becomes the backdrop for your plans.

Before you set off

Just a few details to get started.

When you contact me, tell me what kind of ride you'd like, your level, the bike you have, the number of riders, how long you'd like to ride and your availability. If you already have a route or an idea, we can use that as a starting point.

Questions you may still
have.

What level do I need to join a ride?

The ride is adapted to your ability. When planning, we'll discuss your cycling experience, habits and goals so we can choose the right route.

Do I need to bring my own bike?

You can bring your own bike if it's suitable for the ride and in good condition. If needed, we can discuss the best option beforehand.

How long does a ride last?

It depends on your plans, ability and chosen route. An introductory ride, a challenging ride and a longer day out are all different experiences.

Can I book alone, as a couple or in a small group?

Yes. Rides can be arranged for individuals, couples or small groups, depending on your plans.

Can the routes be customised?

Yes. The route is created around your ability, interests, type of bike, available time and the area you'd like to explore.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We check the conditions before the ride. If it's not safe or comfortable to ride, we'll review the arrangements together.

What equipment do I need?

You'll need a suitable bike in good condition, comfortable clothing and drinking water. We'll confirm the specific requirements before the ride.

What's the difference between road cycling and bikepacking?

Road cycling focuses on tarmac and paved routes. Bikepacking can combine roads, tracks and trails according to your technical ability and preferences.

Can you help me plan a bikepacking or multi-day trip?

Yes. I can help plan the route, daily stages, equipment, luggage and self-sufficiency to create a realistic trip.
